The most influential group in any church are the adults. They are the ones who touch the lives of every person in the community. That is why Central Baptist Church has a strong emphasis on adult ministry. The following areas of ministry help adults in their spiritual growth and influence for the advancement of God's Kingdom.
Sunday School Classes
This is the center of growth and ministry for adults at Central Baptist Church. Our adults are encouraged to be in a Sunday school class on Sunday mornings in order to grow in relationship with Jesus and with those who are part of the Central Baptist Church family. Sunday school classes are designed so the individual or married couple will have a caring group of people that is responsible to help meet their ministry needs and to provide for an accountability group for faithfulness to the Lord. Sunday school classes meet each Sunday morning beginning at 9:30 a.m.
Young at Heart
The Young at Heart Ministry is the Senior Adult Ministry of Central Baptist Church. This ministry is designed to provide encouragement and support towards Senior Adults and to allow for Christian fellowship. This ministry meets once a month on the second Thursday at 10:30 a.m. in the Worship Center. Various speakers and entertainment are provided along with a delicious covered dish meal to follow.
Special Conferences
Adults are informed throughout the year about conferences and special events that provide for spiritual growth. These are designed for the interest and needs of the adults involved. You are invited to be a part of these special conferences and activities.
