Will You Be That Person?
Scripture is filled with men and women who were used by God to advance His Kingdom in the lives of others. The common characteristic of each of these persons is they all were people of prayer. The most powerful people for the Kingdom of God were people who poured their heart and soul out before the Lord. Will you be that person in this generation so that God would work in your life and through your life to grow His Kingdom?
Monthly Prayer Team
The Monthly Prayer Team is comprised of individuals willing to pray for one dedicated hour each month for the overall ministry and mission efforts of Central Baptist Church. This individual time of prayer may be conducted anywhere you choose, including the CBC prayer room (M-F; 8a-4p). The goal of the Monthly Prayer Team is to have at least 30 hours each month covered in prayer for the ministry and mission efforts of CBC.

Sunday Prayer Team
The Sunday Prayer Team is comprised of individuals willing to meet at 9 a.m. each Sunday morning in the Prayer Room to pray for that Sunday’s worship opportunities. Intercession will be made for the Sunday school classes, Sunday school teachers, the worship service, and Age Group Ministries, along with any special event or emphasis taking place.
To join the Sunday Prayer Team, simply meet each Sunday at 9 a.m. in the Prayer Room.
Pastor’s Prayer Team
The Pastor’s Prayer Team is open to men only and is comprised of men who would be willing to meet individually with the pastor on a weekly basis and pray for him and his ministry. Specific prayer will be made in the area of ministry vision, leadership, preaching, and pastoring, along with his greatest responsibility of being a husband and father. This prayer time will be conducted in the CBC prayer room.
