The Women's Missionary Union leads many mission projects and outreach ministries of Central Baptist Church. These projects include annual special offerings for local, state, national, and internationl missions, food pantry drives, crisis pregnancy center ministries, and various special projects associated with the North American Mission Board and International Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention.
The WMU group of Central Baptist Church, known as "Faith in Action", meets on the second Monday of the month at 10 a.m. at the church. This time includes prayer, mission project discussion, devotion, and a brief fellowship.
