The honor and joy of worshiping Jesus Christ, our Lord, is the heart of our Music Ministry. We desire to lead others in the worship of Jesus Christ, both individually and as a congregation.
Each week, members of Central Baptist Church come together to worship and experience God as a body of believers. We do so in celebrative, energetic services that blend traditional hymns, modern hymns and praise music, while employing different instruments to accompany our musical offerings of worship.
The Music Ministry offers many different opportunities for worship and service within Central Baptist Church.
Choirs
Adult Worship Choir
The Central Baptist Church Adult Worship Choir is one of the key aspects of our worship service. The Adult Worship Choir is a consistent group of faces that guests and members see each week leading and praising God from the choir loft. This choir meets for rehearsal each Wednesday evening at 7 p.m. in the Worship Center. These rehearsals are vitally important as we work on several songs for upcoming Sundays and on music for special events within our church. Childcare is provided for this choir rehearsal upon request. The Adult Worshp Choir is open to teenagers in grades 7 and up, along with adults of all ages.
If you are interested in serving in the Adult Worship Choir, please come and visit one of our rehearsals. You will be welcomed with open arms. No auditions are necessary.
Children's Choir
The Children's Choir is comprised of children in grades 1-6. This choir is led by a team of dedicated volunteers who provide an environment for children to lift their voices to the Lord in praise in an engaging and fun way. The Children's Choir presents songs during various times of the year. This choir meets for rehearsal each Wednesday for 30 minutes during the Children in Action program.
Praise Team and Instrumentalists
The Praise Team consist of adults who are willing to lead in worship alongside the Minister of Music during Sunday morning worship. If you are interested in participating in this special aspect of the Music Ministry, you can email Bro. Randy here.

Sound and Video Team
An effective Music Ministry requires an effective and educated sound and video team. This team is made up of individuals who operate the sound and video portions of the Sunday and Wednesday worship services.
