Ryan Thurman

Bro. Ryan Thurman was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and raised in Brookhaven, Mississippi since the age of 4. He is married to the former Amanda Mitchell of Brookhaven and they have two wonderful children, Ashlyn and Mitchell Ryan.

He has earned an Associate of Arts Degree from Copiah-Lincoln Community College, Bachelor of Arts in Religion Degree from William Carey College, and Master of Arts in Religious Education Degree from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.

He previously served as Minister of Students and College at Central Baptist Church in Brookhaven, Mississippi, from 2003-2005 and as Minister of Students and College at First Baptist Church in McComb, Mississippi, from 2005-2007, before returning to Central Baptist Church as Pastor in 2007.

In his free time, Bro. Ryan enjoys spending time with his family, hunting, fishing, and anything outdoors.
